Jennifer Schuette, MSW, LICSW

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

What better job is there than getting to encourage others on a daily basis? If you are struggling with your mood or with maladaptive patterns and strategies, I want you to know that hope and healing is possible. My job is to come along side you and equip you with skills needed to build a life worth living. I approach mental health through a holistic lens and I am trained in Christian integration if that is desired. I have a relational and compassionate style with others and am able to build clients up and hold them accountable. I believe in having the proper balance between time to process and skill acquisition during our sessions. I believe laughter and creativity can be a regular part of the therapy hour.

I currently treat adolescents and adults coping with symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief/loss, life transitions, eating disorders, and trauma. I enjoy using thought restructuring, mindfulness techniques, relaxation skills, values work, and somatic awareness/resourcing to help clients develop increased awareness of current patterns, new coping strategies, and ultimately symptom reduction. As clients heal, they are able to be in better relationship with themselves and others.
