Katie Murray, Psy.D., L.P.Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Murray has been a part of the Water’s Edge CHC team since completing her doctoral work through the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2008, which included an APPIC-accredited pre-doctoral internship through the North Iowa Consortium Psychology Internship Program. Her experience includes providing a wide range of therapeutic and assessment services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Murray’s training has included work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, adjustment issues, grief and loss, and relationship concerns. Additionally Dr. Murray has completed an intensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma and anticipates completion of the developmental portion of this work in 2014. This training is integrated throughout the scope of her practice, which currently includes individual and family therapy as well as facilitating an eating disorder group, supervising unlicensed providers, and acting as the lead therapist/supervisor in the Depression and Anxiety Intensive Outpatient Program. Dr. Murray is open to integrating Christian beliefs into therapy at the request of her clients.
