Liz Anderson obtained her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota in 2010. She is experienced in working with adolescents and families, adults, and with new refugee communities. She is certified in and has collaboratively taught specialized training in providing mental health services to refugees. She completed training in EMDR in the fall of 2015. Liz has clinical experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar, relational difficulties, adolescent life stage issues, adjustment concerns, self-injurious behaviors, grief and loss, fertility issues, domestic violence, PTSD, and other traumas. Her approach is to assist in the healing process in a relational, empathic, trauma informed, and collaborative way. Liz believes that for lasting healing to occur, the whole person needs to be addressed and will assist her clients in doing so. She believes in the importance of addressing spirituality in the healing process.
