Nancy received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Minnesota in 2010 and has been practicing outpatient therapy since then. Nancy has experience working with trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and with those who have experienced emotional, sexual, physical, verbal, psychological and spiritual abuse. She is trained in EMDR, known as an effective treatment of trauma. Additionally, she has completed an intensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma. Nancy is passionate about helping clients recognize and take steps towards getting out of dysfunctional relationships and systems. Nancy is also passionate about her clients finding security, safety, peace, balance, and a sense of purpose. She welcomes Christian beliefs into therapy (if the client desires), and recognizes that as a powerful tool for healing.
