Water’s Edge CHC is excited to announce a few new additions to the WECHC team.

Please welcome Laurie Mueller, LICSW; Lisa Post, LADC, LPCC; and Andrew Steck, MA to our team!  We also want to belatedly acknowledge and welcome practicum student Kendra Colon who has been with our DA IOP team since this past Fall.  We are excited to have each of them and their unique gifts with us here at Water’s Edge.

Liz Anderson, MSW, LICSW Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Liz Anderson obtained her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota in 2010. She is experienced in working with adolescents and families, adults, and with new refugee communities. She is certified in and has collaboratively taught specialized training in providing mental health services to refugees. Liz has clinical experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar, relational difficulties, adolescent life stage issues, adjustment concerns, self-injurious behaviors, grief and loss, fertility issues, domestic violence, PTSD, and other traumas. Her approach is to assist in the healing process in a relational, empathic, trauma informed, and collaborative way. Liz believes that for lasting healing to occur, the whole person needs to be addressed and will assist her clients in doing so. She believes in the importance of addressing spirituality in the healing process. She completed training in EMDR Therapy in the summer/fall of 2015.
