Andrew Steck, MA, LPCC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
I provide services for adults who are facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma symptoms, ADHD, grief, loss, and relationship issues. I have helped bring healing to many with histories of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. I also have experience working with pastors, missionaries, and ministers, and I am sensitive to the unique position of dealing with depression, anxiety, or trauma symptoms in clients who minister to others.
The reality is that everyone’s past affects them to some extent. My approach is to have therapy as a place of self-discovery on how beliefs and past wounds are affecting the current situation. It is also important to look at the social, biological, or even spiritual context to understand each person and their mental health issues. For Christian clients who desire to integrate their spiritual beliefs into therapy, I am trained in Christian integration, and I enjoy incorporating this into therapy.
