Desiree is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 2017. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through the Linehan Institute. She has experience working with adolescents and adults with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Trauma, PTSD, Autism, Personality disorders, Eating disorders, Mood disorders, and Grief. Desiree understands taking the first step to come to therapy is difficult, so she makes sure to be welcoming and non-judgmental with her approach. She enjoys helping clients identify current barriers or struggles that may be impairing them from living their lives to the fullest potential. She values being on the journey with clients while they have their ‘Ah-ha’ moments during the therapeutic process. Desiree is comfortable integrating Christian beliefs into the therapeutic process for those who choose this approach.
