Elise obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Sport/Health Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL. Elise specializes in clients struggling with eating disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder and is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, and body-focused repetitive behaviors. Elise strives to create a relaxed, open, and light-hearted environment while working through life’s obstacles. Elise views each individual as a whole-person, ensuring treatment encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. She enjoys helping her clients achieve what they didn’t believe was possible within themselves. Elise co-facilitates the adolescent Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) as well as sees individual clients, ages 5 and older. She has training in Family-Based Treatment for eating disorders and Exposure Response Prevention for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Elise also utilizes CBT and DBT for the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. Elise is passionate about integrating Christian beliefs into the therapy experience for individuals desiring this approach.
