Jenny Severson, MSMental Health Practitioner-In-Training
Jenny graduated with a Master’s Degree in a CACREP accredited program in Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of MN, Duluth and is currently pursuing her LPCC. Prior to this, she was a school counselor for several years working in a high school setting. She enjoys working with all clients and is especially passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults in life’s transitions. She currently offers co-located services two days a week within Eastview High School by providing therapeutic support to adolescents throughout the school day. She is trained in several therapeutic modalities and enjoys her work using a strengths based approach. Her experience includes working with clients who struggle with symptoms of anxiety, trauma, depression, adjustment disorder, mood disorders, co-dependency, and family/relational difficulties. Jenny is passionate about collaborating with clients from all backgrounds and identities to realize their potential and find hope and healing through the therapeutic process. She is able to integrate spirituality into therapy as desired.
