Licensed Professional Counselor
I have always been passionate about working with women of all ages, and my find work as a Licensed Professional Counselor extremely rewarding and fulfilling. I have clinical experience working with Depression, Anxiety, Body Image, Eating Disorders, Trauma, and PTSD. I also have a specialty in working with Empaths and Highly Sensitive people. I published my first book, titled “The Empaths Workbook,” in 2002. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches, but I always begin with a strengths-based approach. I strive to create a non-judgmental and validating space for clients, and I enjoy using creativity in my work with clients.
Education: I earned a master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University in 2003 and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 2000.
