Madeline Metz, MA
Mental Health Practitioner in Training
My passion is working with children and adolescents, as well as their families. I take a holistic approach to help clients who are currently living with depression, anxiety, and/or trauma to heal and grow. My goal is to aid clients in healing from their emotional traumas so that they can live a joyful and fulfilling life.
Utilizing evidence-based practices, and being attentive to the unique needs of each individual, I work to provide a safe and trusting environment so that my clients can grow. I believe that each client presents with distinctive needs and wants for their therapeutic, healing journey, therefore I take an integrative approach to employ techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Theory, as well as taking a client-focused approach. I work with clients in both group and individual settings.
Education: M.A. in Counseling from the University of St. Thomas
