Family & Couples
Often times the presence of a mental health issue affects the entire family and/or marital relationships. Additionally, conflict and poor coping strategies in a family or couples relationship can contribute to the onset or intensification of symptoms of depression and /or anxiety. Likewise, including family members and significant others in treatment and learning new coping and communication strategies together, can significantly contribute to the healing process. These sessions may be the primary mode of treatment or they may be scheduled intermittently, depending on each individual client’s unique situation.
