With some mental health struggles, group therapy can be an incredibly beneficial and useful tool for growth. Support from a community of people fighting the same battles as you can be encouraging and challenging, while also holding you accountable and pulling you outside yourself. As human beings, we all do best with community, and our group counseling sessions can bring that valuable element into your personal healing and growth process.
Group Mental Health Therapy

This group is for individuals who are unduly influenced by negative thoughts towards and about their body making it difficult to heal from depression, anxiety, trauma and/or eating disorders. Explore methods of moving towards body acceptance/neutrality and gain insight into how negative body image affects daily living.

Recovery can feel isolating, but you don’t have to walk this path alone. This group offers a safe space for adults to connect with others who truly understand the struggle. Join us to share your story, learn from one another, and find strength in a shared community.

Is this for you? If you are in recovery and no longer require daily programming, but still value weekly structure and genuine connection, you belong here.

What to Expect:
· Skill-Building: Actionable tools for your recovery toolkit.
· Process Group: A safe space to share and be heard.
· Holistic Focus: We support the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
· Real-Life Support: Guidance for navigating triggers in your daily environment.

Criteria for the group:
1. Must be medically stable
2. Must be participating in weekly therapy sessions with a provider trained in eating disorders

Group Information:
The group runs for 1 hour and 15 minutes per week

When:
· Every Monday, starting January 26th from 5-6:30 pm
· Virtual Platform
· Duration: ongoing group, but recommend 8 week commitment

Clients will gain support and skills to assist them in their recovery journey. This group is meant to complement individual therapy and possibly medication management.
