Elizabeth Gockowski, M.S.Psychotherapist
Elizabeth received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences at Divine Mercy University in Sterling, VA. She is working toward LPCC licensure. She sees adult clients in individual therapy and in group settings, including in the Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and the Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma IOP. Elizabeth views her profession as a call to assist others in rediscovering or strengthening their sense of worth as a human being. Elizabeth works to help others identify and compassionately challenge unhelpful beliefs and behaviors. She is fascinated by the application of Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and trauma psychoeducation to a variety of mental health problems, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse. Elizabeth also enjoys discovering new places in her home state of Minnesota, including hiking trails with hidden vistas, hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and bookstores to wander through.
