I have been with Water’s Edge CHC since completing my doctoral degree from the University of St. Thomas in August of 2013. Prior to this I completed my APA approved doctoral internship at the University of St. Thomas’s Counseling and Psychological Services. I have clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, trauma/PTSD, domestic violence, adjustment/life transition concerns, and psychological testing. I am also a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist for trauma and developmental trauma, which focuses on body-oriented treatment modalities in healing the effects of trauma. I am additionally trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am currently working towards certification.
